Austin Convention Center to Host TCEA, RV Expo, QuiltCon, Demolition and Jr. Volleyball Classic

AUSTIN, Texas – More than 32,000 attendees are scheduled to visit The Austin Convention Center (ACC) in February 2020 with seven major events highlighting the calendar.

The Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) is holding its 2020 TCEA Annual Convention and Exposition from Feb. 3 – 7, with an estimated 15,000 attendees. The conference focuses on engaging students, enhancing curriculums and productivity.

The Austin RV Expo, featuring the region’s premier recreational vehicle show and dealers will be held at ACC from Feb 13 – 16. Over 9,500 attendees are estimated to attend the RV Expo. QuiltCon 2020, an international conference and quilt show with modern quilting instructors, lectures, vendors and prizes, will be held from Feb. 20–23.

The National Demolition Association’s Annual Conference – Demolition 2020 will be hosted at ACC from Feb. 22-25. The conference features a Live DEMOlition Event about concrete processing, drones and robotic equipment. The 2020 Lone Star Jr. Volleyball 18s Classic is scheduled for Feb. 28 – March 1. This is a 3-day national qualifying tournament for a bid to the USA Volleyball Girls 18 Junior National Championships.

Also, the Teacher Retirement System of Texas and Employees Retirement System of Texas 2020 Emerging Manager Conference is scheduled on Feb. 26. This conference invites investors to meet and network with small and diverse TRS/ERS Emerging Managers. The Franchise Show, a series of how to franchise and business ownership seminars is scheduled from Feb. 29 – March 1.

Looking ahead to March 2020, SXSW is coming and The Austin Convention Center and Palmer Events Center are gearing up for hosted events for the world-famous festival month.

Over 10 million people have attended 6,000+ events, including over 900 conventions, at the LEED® Gold-certified Austin Convention Center since it opened in 1992. Events at both the Convention Center and the Palmer Events Center can be accessed at www.austinconventioncenter.com.
