March Events at Austin Convention Center Include SXSW, AAPPR Annual Conference, SHM Converge 2023

AUSTIN, Texas – March Madness at the Austin Convention Center includes the South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festival, and its internationally known multi-week events schedule, along with the AAPPR Annual Conference and SHM Converge, and one private event, that will keep the Austin Convention Center busy for March 2023.

SXSW, the Austin-based event that celebrates the convergence of the tech, film, and music industries is scheduled from March 6-19 and is one of the premier multimedia festivals in the world. The conference and music festival will host live, in-person, and online events this year.

The Austin Convention Center is a Technology Partner for SXSW 2023 and will play host to SXSW EDU from March 6-9, SXSW Conference from March 10-17, SXSW Film & TV Festival from March 10-18, and the SXSW Music Fest is from March 13-19. The Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) Annual Conference is scheduled to be held at the Austin Convention Center from March 21-24. The four-day conference includes pre-conference workshops for healthcare decision-makers in physician and provider recruitment, onboarding, and retention along with programming for continuing education credits.

SHM Converge 2023, hosted by the Society of Hospital Medicine is scheduled from March 26-29, at the Austin Convention Center. The event offers medical track sessions for professionals in hospital medicine, hospital-based care, and other hospitalist specialties.
