“I am honored to be a recipient of this year’s class of 20 in their Twenties, I couldn’t have done it without the support of all departments at the ACC mentoring me along the way,” said Lily Harris, Event Coordinator at the Austin Convention Center.

Supported by the PCMA Foundation and Experience Columbus, the class of 2024 will be introduced at Convening Leaders 2024 (CL24) on January 7-10 in San Diego, California. Members of the class of 2024 receive scholarships to participate in CL24, registration to EduCon 2024 in Detroit, and a one-year PCMA membership along with a feature story in PCMA’s Convene magazine.

Since August 2022, Harris has been an integral part of the Austin Convention Center team. Beginning as a temporary Event Coordinator and Guest Services Representative, she has advanced to the position of full-time Event Coordinator.

This also encompasses managing communications for audiovisuals, security, catering, décor, invoices, and internal and external room set drawings. Additionally, Harris is the Event Coordinator for some of the convention center’s largest shows including SXSW and Keller Williams.

Harris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Austin College, in Sherman, Texas, and is pursuing a master’s degree from Texas Tech University. She is an Austin, Texas native and a graduate of Austin High School.
