AUSTIN, Texas – Eight events are scheduled at the Austin Convention Center for June 2023, including the Conference on Education Law for Principals, TASSP Summer Workshop, SIIM Annual Meeting, NAPCS Conference, City of Austin Summer Internship Leadership Day, US Dragon and Lion Dance Federation National Championships, ACAMS Fintech Summit, and the Austin Auto Show, along with two private business events.
On June 13, the 2023 Conference on Education Law for Principals is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center. Presented by ED311 and the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP), the one-day conference is for principals, campus leaders, superintendents, school board members, school attorneys, and district administrators, to focus on current trends and areas of concern for school administrators.
The 2023 TASSP Summer Workshop will also be held at the Austin Convention Center from June 14-16. TASSP is celebrating 100 years and the workshop is a professional development opportunity event offering insight into current and changing trends for principles, assistant principals, directors, professors, administrators, teachers, counselors, and students.
From June 14-16, the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine is scheduled to host the SIIM 2023 Annual Meeting + InformaticsTECH Expo at the Austin Convention Center. The event is for medical imaging clinicians, imaging IT professionals, scientists and developers and other users and vendors of patient care through imaging informatics.
The four-day NAPCS - 2023 National Alliance for Public Charter Schools Conference is scheduled from June 18 - 21, at the Austin Convention Center. The conference brings together charter school educators, advocates, and leaders from around the country in K-12 education.
The City of Austin is hosting the Summer Internship Program – Leadership Day at the Austin Convention Center on June 23.
The 3rd USDLDF National Lion Dance Championships is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center from June 23-25. Hosted by the United States Dragon & Lion Dance Federation the event features a Traditional Southern Lion Dance competition with additional female and youth-specific divisions. The cultural team dance performances mimic lion movements while in costume.
From June 27-28, the ACAMS FinTech & Crypto Summit is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center. Covering news, views, and issues impacting FinTech and crypto compliance professionals, the event offers speakers, sessions, training, and ACAMS professional development credits to attendees.
Closing out the month at the Austin Convention Center is the Austin Auto Show, scheduled from June 30 – July 2. The four-day car enthusiast event, presented by the Austin Automobile Dealers Association, will display some of the most anticipated car models, styles, and automotive cutting-edge technologies.
