Austin Convention Center to Host Vintage T-Shirt Con and Austin Fall Home & Garden Show in August

AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Convention Center is pleased to announce the hosting of two events for August 2021. The events include the Vintage T-Shirt Con 2021 and the Austin Fall Home & Garden Show.

The two-day Vintage T-Shirt Con will be held from Aug. 7-8 at the Austin Convention Center. The international vintage T-shirt convention, estimated to draw 1,500 attendees, is promoting 200-plus vendors, live auctions, and the buying and trading of apparel, sneakers, and other vintage memorabilia.

From Aug. 13-15, Austin Convention Center will host the Austin Fall Home & Garden Show. An estimated 12,000 attendees and visitors are expected during the 3-day event. The show features inspirations from home builders, contractors, speakers along with showroom type displays and demos. The show covers almost every area of home building, remodeling, landscaping, and gardening.
Looking ahead, scheduled to kick off in early September is Jurassic Quest 2021, from Sept. 3-6, at the Austin Convention Center.

The Austin Convention Center and Palmer Events Center are operated by the Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD), a division of the City of Austin. The Austin Convention Center Department continues to adhere to all City of Austin, Travis County, State of Texas, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations.

Although ACCD recommends wearing a mask during your visit to our facility, face coverings are optional for attendees, staff, and clients, and enforcement is now the responsibility of the client. Health screenings and temperature checks upon entry are not required but are available as optional services per client request.
